Commitment to Child Safety

The Lorraine Foundation is committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for children and young people.

We recognise the importance of protecting children's privacy, dignity and wellbeing in all communications and publications.

Publication of Children's Images

Where images, videos or recordings of children are published by The Lorraine Foundation, publication occurs only with appropriate consent and for purposes consistent with the Foundation's charitable objectives.

Restrictions on Use

Unless expressly authorised in writing by The Lorraine Foundation, visitors must not:

  • download images of children from this Website;

  • save images of children to personal or organisational systems;

  • reproduce or publish images of children;

  • repost images to social media;

  • distribute images through messaging platforms;

  • edit, manipulate or create derivative works from images of children;

  • use images of children for identification, profiling or data collection purposes.

Educational and Media Use

The educational permissions granted under the Copyright & Educational Use Policy do not apply to images of children.

Separate written approval must be obtained before any reuse of children's images.

Reporting Concerns

Any concern regarding the misuse of a child's image, personal information or online safety should be reported to The Lorraine Foundation immediately.

Removal Requests

The Foundation reserves the right to request removal of any image or content involving children where continued publication may affect the safety, wellbeing or privacy of a child.

Compliance

Unauthorised use of children's images may constitute a breach of these policies and may also contravene Australian privacy, child protection and other applicable laws.
